The HOD will also ensure that appropriate processes for execution and communication with the team are adequately followed.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all learning components are created to the highest possible standards, and that all necessary evaluation and monitoring procedures are followed.
People Management: Ensure that team performance is managed appropriately, workload allocation is done in a timely manner, and that the team has access to the necessary support to enable them to complete all tasks. Engender a culture of excellence, co-operation and respect within the departments.
Knowledge Transfer: Carry out the training and on-boarding of new recruits, as well as create new opportunities to upskill the current team.
Research and Development: Keep oneself abreast of developments in the education field as well as in other fields related to the department target group. Transfer these learnings to the content team and into new product development at Lido.
