Job Description
Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate production problems per operations processes,
affecting the network infrastructure
supervising responsibilities including interviewing and training/coaching team Members
participate in team projects and project/technology transition
identify and resolve chronic issues.
Help team to Create RCA whether you have been involved directly or indirectly
Additional duties as required and possible assistance on Special Projects
Day to day operation and maintenance of the customer cloud network, supported by
a worldwide robust and flexible level 2 team. Network consists primarily of Cisco,
Checkpoint and F5 devices but also Juniper (not mandatory)
Creation of network documentation from the existing infrastructure, planned
Infrastructure as well as updating existing documentation.
Knowledge requirements:
Solid grasp of TCP/IP stack and its internals as well as related troubleshooting tools
(Connectivity verification, packet capture etc.)
Motivated self-starter capable of working in a team environment as well as
individually without direct supervision
strong Knowledge of Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF) and Switches with L4-L7 protocols and proficient in ADC
Job requirements:
CCNP and ITIL – V3 , F5
day to day specifics:
Routing and switching technologies and corresponding protocols (e.g. Cisco)
IP services like ACL, High availability
Checkpoint Smart Center, Console, Defense and Workflow as well as
Checkpoint CLI experience.
Load balancer (LTM, GTM)
NAT
VPN setups
Communicate with peers and managers regarding system issues & participate in
24x7 on-call.
Experience in Security on large-scale network that includes ACLs, Firewalls is mandatory.
Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization
